Owner on every job
You deal directly with the owner who runs the saws. No disconnected sales reps or outsourced labor.
“They cleared twelve hazard trees from my yard — full cleanup — in under six hours. I've never seen a crew move like that.”
He's 29. He's been climbing trees since he was 15.
Erasto “Tacho” Toral started logging in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico, when he was a teenager. Fourteen years later, he runs his own crew in Lane County — and he's on every job, running the saws and signing off on the cleanup himself.
When the brand promises “owner on every job,” this is what that means: when you call, you talk to him. When the truck shows up, he's in it.
More about TachoCommon questions before the call.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes — Oregon CCB #247495, fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry general liability and workers' comp. We'll send the certificates on request before we start.
- Do you charge for estimates?
- No. Estimates are always free. Tacho or a crew lead will walk the property, talk through what needs doing, and write it up. Most estimates happen within 24 hours of you calling.
- Do you grind the stump, or just cut the tree down?
- Either. Stump grinding is a separate service — some homeowners want the stump for character, most want it ground 6–12 inches below grade so they can replant or pave. We'll quote both with and without grinding so you can decide.
- Do you haul away the debris, or do I keep it?
- Your call. We can haul everything off-site for a flat fee, chip it on site and leave the mulch for your landscaping, or buck the trunk into firewood rounds and stack it where you want. Tell us at the estimate and we'll quote accordingly.
- How fast can you respond to a storm or hazard tree?
- Same-day for true emergencies — leaning trees over a house, blocked driveways, lines down. Call the phone number directly for fastest response. For scheduled work the typical lead time is one to two weeks.
- Do you work outside Lane County?
- For larger jobs, yes — we'll travel for the right work. Call and ask. For routine residential jobs we generally stay inside the service-area boundary on our map.
